Welcome to Holy Cross Academy! We are happy to play host to you as you visit our school through our web site. We hope that you will enjoy getting to know us and learning about the many wonderful people and exciting activities that take place at HCA.

At Holy Cross Academy, we like to say, "It’s About the Children." As a matter of fact, our bumper sticker will tell you that.

It is my privilege to share with you what I think Holy Cross Academy means. I believe that our name explains us very well.

First of all, we are called to be HOLY. Since our school is administered by the Oblate Sisters of St. Francis de Sales, we listen to St. Francis de Sales who exhorts us to Live Jesus every day. We live out this universal call to holiness by allowing God to work through us and in us.

Secondly, we are blessed by the CROSS of Jesus in all we do. We know that Jesus redeemed us on the Cross and that he has called each of us to share in the mystery of our Redemption. We begin and end each action with the Sign of the Cross.

And lastly, ACADEMY. We challenge our students to academic excellence each step of the way. Under the guidance of an extraordinarily talented and devoted faculty, our students grow spiritually, academically, physically and emotionally. We are dedicated to the education of the whole child, and to the good of each child.
