Extra-curricular Clubs and Activities
Our extracurricular offerings are constantly growing. The include athletics for our Middle School students: field hockey, soccer and basketball. We offer band, strings, keyboarding lessons beginning in the 3rd grade and chorus beginning in 5th grade. Our drama club is open to all ages. Our academic extracurricular activities include the Battle of the Books, Math Olympiads and Science Squad. We have Scouts for boys and girls at all levels.  

Students are provided with many opportunities to develop their leadership skills, most notably in Scouts, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society and Young Catholics for Change. 

Athletics
Holy Cross Academy has several opportunites for students middle school students to participate in athletics.

Instrumental Music
Holy Cross Academy's Instrumental Music program includes Band and Strings and Beginning Piano skills. The Band and Strings program is for students in grades 4 through 8. Students practice once a week and give two concerts per year.

The Beginning Piano Skills program is for students in grades 3 and 4 only. This class is an introduction to piano, but includes some music theory and music reading skills. Students who take this class usually have an advantage with their music skills over other students when joining the Band and Strings program. Uniform Code
The dress code provides a standard for our students, which fosters an environment conducive to learning and respectful behavior. Uniforms may be purchased online through Flynn & O'Hara Uniforms.
