The Oblate Sisters of St. Francis de Sales serve as administrators and teachers at Holy Cross Academy, together with dedicated lay teachers and staff. Our Sisters bring the precious heritage of their Oblate spirituality to our school. Along with the spiritual treasures of St. Francis de Sales, the Sisters share the lives and teachings of their holy founders, St. Leonie Aviat and the Venerable Fr. Louis Brisson with all.

Our Sisters witness to the mysteries of our faith through the consecration of their persons and their work to the good of the souls in their care. The Sisters work along with our pastor and priests to create a vibrant faith community.

Oblate educational philosophy centers on the development of the whole person as a unique creation of God. Our Sisters spread the wisdom of St. Francis de Sales, the gentleman saint, and demonstrate it in all their dealings with parents, students, faculty and staff. At all times, the dignity of the human person must be respected and each child’s soul must be nourished. Through gentle encouragement, our Sisters guide all in our school to strive for holiness of life and excellence in living out their unique vocation.
